It's One of Those Days

It's one of those days. Those days that I felt like an empty shell. I feel like there's nothing inside of me. An emptiness so void I do not know where I've placed it. A feeling so lost I just wander hopelessly. I feel the inability to show expressions. A feeling so numb that I don't even care anymore. When I'm alone, I feel lonely. A heartache so bad it hurts. A pain so bad you need to cry. You wonder why such a pain even exist. I think, I need to get out. But, I might just feel lonelier. I don't even know what's going through my mind. So many things, so many unnecessary things. Things that hurts. Fills my mind. I need to get it out. But, the more I try to suppress it, the more I think about it. The more it hurts. It's a feeling no one understands. It's a mind of your own. It's a feeling of your own. Though the experience may be similar but it's not the same. Cause you are not me. It's impossible to say you understand. No matter how close it is. These tears I cry are not the same as those that you cry. But it's a choice a made. I path I chose. I road I took. There's no place for regrets. But still, a heartache is a heartache. There's no way I can make it go away. Not yet. Maybe in years to come. But not yet.

It's one of those days that never felt emptier.

Pancake Tuesday and Lent

Here, the Tuesday before Lent, (Lent: a season of repentance before Easter Sunday) is PANCAKE TUESDAY!!

As the name suggests, you make pancakes on that day, normally for dinner. At first, I didn't really bother, then my housemates are making them, and they asked me if I wanted any. I thought why not? Since, I've actually hadn't had any contact with them for what seems like ages. They ate pancakes with sugar and lemon... I just put sugar. Not a fan for the sour taste..

Well, my pancakes always turn out to be fairly nice, although I wasn't the one making it. I was scared it might turn out burnt or something ... Somehow, when they were making theirs, it usually turns out wrong, like burnt or mangled or something likewise. It was a good laugh. :)

Anyway, for Lent, I was just thinking, I should refrain from Facebook. For 40 days. Starting this Sunday. Yup. I thought about a number of things I should stop from but I probably wouldn't survive to see the day. So, let's start it slow with something I'm addicted to but can still probably give up.

I tried it on. Oh, it's sad to say but this one is too short to be a dress. So, actually it's only a top..

And another one... It's a 2 piece actually. Comes with a spaghetti strap top. And this one is a weird one... I don't even know which is front and which is back...-_- And you probably couldn't notice from the pictures.. but the hem of the skirt below is..slanted.Like really slanted....

A Stroll Down Botanic Garden

There's this Botanic Garden in somewhere near our university. One Wednesday afternoon, Jamie, Zakhir and I decided to go for a stroll before lecture. Beats why...

We entered the greenhouse. There's this door written killer plants. Intriguing.. The rest of the pictures will explain themselves.

Snow/Sleet

I was waiting for my friend while it was snowing/sleeting heavily...and the wind was blowing so strong.. so I decided to take a picture.

Just done with one block. And going on to the next. Sad to think that I'm not exactly looking forward to them... Anyways, so there's this old couple I have to go see and interview for a cousework. And they are really nice. Everytime we visit them, they serve tea and biscuits and all sorts. It's just really homely. The first visit, I asked if I could have the recipe for one the cookies. It's called 'Coffee Bun' although there are no coffee inside.. But, it's very delicious. So, the last time I visited them, she actually remembered and gave the recipe for it!! Gosh, I was soo happy. :) They're so sweet!!
