New Hair Colour

I've dyed my hair red and got a haircut as well. The haircut ended up looking the same as the one I had before but I think I'm gonna get it cut again because it's not the hairstyle I wanted. Why didn't I get it this time round? I can't be bothered to tell the story.....so lets just have a look at my new hair colour :)

Went to watch a Alan Carr (comedian - for those who doesn't know) at SECC last Saturday. It was hilarious! I enjoyed it so much

It was my birthday yesterday :) I had a supercalifragilisticespialidocious time!!

Starts off with a handmade french toast and tea by me sweet Ryan hahaha

Then, we went for a quick shopping trip at The Fort. Bought some things with birthday money from Ryan's mum and gran.

Stopped for Starbucks - creme brulee macchiato

Bought some clothes - a bargain jacket from Jane Norman. Half price!! So hottttt

Well if you were wondering what Ryan got for my birthday, he had actually given me my pressies earlier on. For one, my bike is my birthday pressie :) And he got me another surprise after....

Then, went for dinner in the evening. Ryan bought a groupon deal for 2 at The Ferry.

Put some some lashies and a black dress :) I feel so overdressed.....

The place isn't big - and everyone was seated at the bottom deck which I can't show cos I didn't take a picture of the inside much.... We were seated in a banquet style as the places is pretty small and they have to accomodate as many people as possible.

We did go away before his whole show finishes cause I was wanting to go back to watch Big Brother and I was tired as well anyways...

All in all, it was a fantastic time. I enjoyed my day thoroughly. Got lost of stuffies :) So happy...

Anyways, this morning I got a package of things I bought online..

Nonetheless, I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from the website of Mini-me anymore....as you can see why.

We have out grad ball at McDonald Aviemore Resort. We arrived round lunch time and were hungry so we had some late lunch.

It's been a while since the ball, so I don't remember what I ate. I think it's chicken and mushroom pie with some vegs on the side.

After lunch, we went to check in into our room which took a while to find but the room was niccceeee

Again, it's one of those pics where it's been kept in storage for like the longest time and just for a glimpse of it....

1. Went to this ice cream place called 3 Steps to Heaven

Had their specialty marble slab ice cream where the combine 2 flavours of ice cream and add in some extra things eg. smarties, rocky road, etc. Because it's done on a cold marble the ice cream doesn't melt and thus enables the combination.... it turns out like this..

They also sell savoury foods. Ryan was hungry, so he had some soup and panini.

2. I bought this coupon for a dozen cupcakes from 12 pounds when the original price is 30 pounds.

Okay this doesn't do it justice but it was really yummilicious!

I was digging out my diary and pictures trying to figure out what I have been up to the whole last year.

1. One of my greatest achievement is probably reaching my goal of weighing less then 55 kg and I am currently 53 kg and in addition, my waist size have decreased to 29 inc., thus dropping one dress size as well.

2. I watched my first 3D film - Alice in Wonderland. It wasn't great though.

3. I learned to swim, although still only at the shallow part! I even bought arm bands for learning!

4. Bought my first bike and learned to cycle!

5. Celebrated my first Valentine's ever with a guy - Ryan :)

6. Went to my first rave party - Steve Angello at the Arches with friends and it was amazing!!

7. Attended my first ceilidh at Sloan's and it was really fun!

8. Got a 4th piercing on my left ear and would be the last one I'd get.

9. Carved my first pumpkin :)

10. Met Ryan's dad and gran for the first time.

11. Celebrated my 1st relationship anniversary. :)

12. Saw Disney on Ice - 100 years of magic at Braehead. It was fun but ordinary. Makes me reminiscent of my younger days though. :)

12. Experienced the worst snow in years in Scotland. Snowed in for about a week! And freezing cold!

13. Went travelling/ visiting for the first time to a number of places. A few notable ones are Dublin with Liying, Amsterdam and Stirling with Ryan and Paris and Bath with Fong.

14. In Dublin, poured my first pint of Guiness.

15. In Amsterdam, stayed in a tiny room in a boat.

16. Went to a proper beach for the first time and wore a bikini:)

17. Cycled in Amsterdam and fell several times and bleed and cried and got totally soaked.

18. Went to the Red Light District.

19.Also, tried space cake and an hour later, ran into a shop shouting to call for an ambulance because Ryan couldn't handle it. Totally freaked out.

20. Visited the Louvre. Too big.

21. Went into a thermal bath spa in Bath. Mmmmm

22. Went for my first outdoor festival at Creamfields with Zakhir. Then got my tent, sleeping bag and other things stolen. It was an experience.

That was my year!

Christmas 2010

I spent New Year's at Ryan's. I went over on Christmas Eve night. The day before Christmas Eve I was just trying out a new hairstyle so when my hair was half wet, I braided it.

This is how it turned out. Pretty curly but it gets less curly throughout the day. And if I had braided even amount of hair I think it would have turned out better...

Anyways, so the next morning I wake up and his mum cooked us breakfast.

Just kept slipping and all and I had to walk really really slow. Probably took half an hour to reach the car.... Anyways, after that, we went back to Ryan's house and open presents!!!!!

Snow is so pretty until it starts causing crazy chaos. It's been snowing and melting like mad for the past 2 weeks and it's been a hassle going in and out of hospital. Well, at least to and fro the hospital I was going to.

And yesterday, the sudden downpour of snow made some lorries railed of the motorway and subsequently causing road blockage (something to that effect, do not quote me!), which means roads closed and long alternative routes, not to mention the mounts of snow isn't making the driving (and the walking) any easier. And I didn't know how to get back home from the hospital...cause public transportation was reportedly not working and cars and cabs couldn't come...I was stuck! I was contemplating on staying in the hospital for the night when a bus passed by and decided to try to get on it. Good thing it was going to the city and at least it was some place familiar. Phewww.

To make things worse, it's winter! There's already not enough daylight for everyone to share. It's depressing. It's like I don't want to get out cause it's too cold but at the same time, I don't wanna stay at home, cause it's just....depressing I guess. I felt trapped in the house.

Snow, why can't you just be pretty and not that troublesome. Somebody get the snow out of the way.....:(

So, this was my last GP block. I had surprisingly enjoyed it. The GPs had all been really nice and I managed to learn quite a bit from them.

Last Monday, was Ryan's graduation for his Master's degree. I couldn't attend his graduation cause it was in the afternoon and I have to go to the GP. His mum, him and I went for dinner afterwards at this posh Chinese-Thai-Japanese place called Yen. It was really nice despite being pricey. And his mum paid for it anyway. :) Heheh. By the end of the night, I was extremely full!! And not to mention bloated... but oh so worth it!! I would definitely go there again...if I have money to spare.

On Friday night, I went over to Ryan's. We bought pizza and chips from a supermarket for dinner. I was craving for pizza lol. We also go ice cream and oyster-shaped wafer shells and vanilla ice cream and cream soda. Yummm. So we had kind of like a soda float. And the next day, I had an ice cream oyster :) So spoiled.

We went to watch Saw 3D on Saturday afternoon. Was gonna watch the earlier one but was late so we decided to watch the later one instead. It was supposed to be the final chapter of Saw. I liked that it was just as gory as the previous ones but the story line was confusing. The 3D is not necessary but I still liked it. One of my favourite all time movies.

And while I was at the cinema, saw this movie poster for a show called NEDs: Non-Educated Delinquents. Hahaha. Fong, remember what I've told you about NEDs? I cannot believe it actually being made into a movie. So, I'm telling a lie!!! Wuahahahaa.

Oh, since we arrived earlier at the cinema and after buying tickets for a movie more than 2 hours later we went to walk around in the city. I wanted to check my bra size so went into La Senza to try on a few bras and decided to get a free bra fitting. I am sooo happy I finally know what size I am. I am a 32 D now or 34 C for comfort. I was doubtful at first because I was uncomfortable in a 32. The cup size is fine. But, when I think of it, it makes sense. The 32 D for my size is when the clasp is at the furthest so when it loosens it will be just right wouldn't it?

On a side note, this morning in church, I was asked to do the reading. (It's a part of the mass where parts of the bible was read out) It was my first time and was exciting while at the same time nerve-wrecking! But I thought it went well. :)

Halloween

Last Friday, I had a day off, so I was over at Ryan's on Thursday night. Had a long lie in on Friday morning then went to do a bit of shopping. I needed to buy cards and such and DVDs to watch on Friday night. We were going to celebrate Halloween a bit earlier since Ryan's working on Saturday night.

Ryan's mum got a lot of Halloween decorations for the house. So, basically on Friday night, I spent most of the time decorating the house. It looked quite nice, I'd have to say. We also carved a pumpkin! We named him Peter. Hahahaa. Peter the pumpkin. Lame.... I know.

Then we ate candy and watched Child's Play. The one with Chucky in it. I've never seen it and neither did Ryan. But it wasn't that scary after all....it's actually funny at some parts. We also watched The Collector which is from one of the directors of Saw. It's very much like Saw. Sick, torturous, gory scenes which I think is much scarier and disturbing....

On Saturday, we stayed in most times and then I helped with a bit of painting at Ryan's house. He's repainting the doors and walls. Took me 2 hours plus (at least) to paint 2 sides of a door.... but it was worth it. I enjoyed it!! Was fun. I should do more DIY from now on....oh wait. I don't have time. *sighs*

Today, I went to the city with Ryan to get him a new suit for his graduation tomorrow. Yes, he is graduating from his Masters tomorrow. Then maybe we'll be going out for dinner (with his mother). So, we stopped by several shops and eventually got a dark grey plain suit which I think looked nice and a pair of ties. Was gonna get a formal shirt and shoes but we were too tired to be bothered. Shopping can be surprisingly strenuous.
